Shipping and delivery terms

Monsieur Truffe currently deliver Australia-wide. We CANNOT guarantee overnight services, even for express parcels.

We often utilise courier services that do not have a ‘return to depot’ process if no one is available to accept delivery.  If you anticipate that no one will be present to sign for goods, consider arranging delivery to a business or other address. We are unable to take responsibility for loss, damage or theft that occurs after delivery is completed.

Orders are shipped on business days. We attempt to avoid our products being in transit over weekends where possible, to avoid unnecessary time in transit, which may compromise product quality.

We are unable to accept responsibility for delays on the part of courier services and shipping companies.

Redelivery charges apply where incorrect address/critical delivery details are submitted by the customer. Accuracy of entry when ordering is out of our control.

Shipping times may vary during peak gifting seasons, Christmas and Easter.

Some fragile products are only available for local Victorian delivery or pickup.

 Returns policy

We cannot exchange or refund goods due to the perishable nature of chocolate, so please order carefully.

Where an order is damaged during delivery, we undertake to replace any product delivered to you that is faulty or is in a damaged condition.  If you wish to return a faulty or damaged product, you must notify us within 24 hours upon receiving the goods.

If we are unable at the time of return to replace or exchange returned goods, we undertake to reimburse your credit card for the amount initially debited for the purchase including packaging and postage charges.

 Local Pickup from Brunswick East

As an alternative to paid delivery, we offer free in-store pickup for website orders.

Orders placed Monday to Thursday will be ready for collection the following morning. Orders placed on Friday will be ready for pickup the following Monday. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, so no pickups are available on those days.

Pickups are available Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 2:00pm from our store. Once your order is ready, we’ll contact you with collection details.

Please note that while we do our best to keep website stock updated, items may occasionally be unavailable. If this happens, we’ll reach out to offer a replacement or provide a refund if preferred.
